Man United Offers £173m to Barcelona to Forward Neymar
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, the Old Trafford club is willing to activate the release clause written into the Brazilian’s contract to bring him to the Premier League.
On top of the huge fee they would give Barca, United is also willing to pay Neymar €25m (£21m), or £416,000-a-week, to make the switch to England.
Last week, Neymar admitted he admired a number of Premier League sides – including United.
‘The Premier League is a championship that amazes me,’ Neymar said. ‘I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
‘I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool these are the teams that are always there fighting.
‘And then you have high-level coaches like Mourinho and Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.’
Neymar had developed into one of the world’s finest players since joining Barcelona in the summer of 2013.
Earlier this month he played a key role as the Nou Camp side progressed against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, overturning a four-goal first-leg deficit in dramatic style.
The 25-year-old got the comeback underway with a stunning free-kick in the 88th minute as Barcelona trailed 3-1 at home.
And then he converted a pressure penalty during added time prior to Sergi Roberto’s late winner as Barcelona reached the quarter-finals.

"I May Not Tour Again " Adele Tells Fans
Over the weekend Adele told her fans that she might not tour again.During her final show in New Zealand, the 28-year-old singer told her fans that she might be done with touring. She said, “Touring isn’t something I’m good at … applause makes me vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again.”
Of course, Adele had to tug at our heartstrings with a follow-up statement. “The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag. My greatest accomplishment in my career is this tour.”
This isn’t the first time Adele has hinted at going on a break. Last November, after closing the North American leg of her tour, she revealed a higher-priority plan — having baby #2. And earlier this month at a show, Adele officially confirmed that she married her longtime boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
Between the recent wedding and the grueling tour schedule, it’s understandable why Adele wants to take a break, but hopefully, this isn’t her last tour ever.

18 Extra Weeks Added to the Repairs of Abuja Airport - FG
The Federal Government has extended the timeline for repair work on the runway of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, by another 18 weeks.
According to Daily Trust, a highly-placed official in the presidency, revealed this in a statement made available to State House correspondents on Sunday.
The official, who pleaded anonymity, said the second phase of the upgrade work would be done at night, to avoid disruption of flight schedules.
The Abuja Airport was shut down on March 8, 2017 and is expected to be re-opened on April 19.
“After the Abuja Airport reopens for operations on April 19, upgrade works on the runway will continue for another 18 weeks. This second phase of upgrade works on the runway will be carried out at night, with no disruption to flight schedules,” the official said.
Reports showed that over 43,000 passengers passed through the Kaduna Airport in its first 11 days of operation, as alternative to the Abuja Airport.
The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was temporarily closed from midnight on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to enable the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), carry out major rehabilitation of the runway at the airport.
FAAN’s managing director, Saleh Dunoma, appealed to airline operators, passengers, airport users and other stakeholders to bear with the FAAN, saying it would continue to upgrade facilities at the nation’s airports.
He explained that this was in compliance with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) annexes.
