foods to Avoid when you are trying to Lose weight




The road to weight loss can be a narrow and rough road, the journey also might be a far one. The good news is that with consistency, determination, endurance, and discipline you can achieve a noticeable weight loss as early as a month. There is a great feeling when you walk out the door and your neighbors and friends start telling you "you have lost some weight " "you look younger " and you thank them with a big grin on your cHeeks. Achieving this results takes a lot of self discipline and endurance. While you might have started thinking of the kind of exercise to embark on, remember without a proper diet Combined with exercise weight loss will be hard to achieve.
                  Now as a Nigerian there are some foods you Have to avoid when you are on a weight loss journey. Remember it can take you two weeks to learn a new Habit. It may seem hard at first but it is worth it. Try avoiding this foods for two weeks and you will not want to it eat again.


1. Garri, Eba, spaghetti,  bread, snacks 
2. Beverages, soft drinks, alcohol,  
3. Red meat 
4. Processed foods 
5. Reduce your intake of salt

Personally I recommend eating 85% fruits and vegetables. You can take fruits for breakfast, look for a food high in protein at noon and also take fruits at night. Also, if you still want to lose weight and eat your favorite meal then take it at noon. Fruits and vegetables should be your breakfast and dinner. Remember to keep the carbs low. Take plenty of water to feel full and reduce some parts of the body that have retained water.
