According to Spanish newspaper Sport, the Old Trafford club is willing to activate the release clause written into the Brazilian’s contract to bring him to the Premier League. On top of the huge fee they would give Barca, United is also willing to pay Neymar €25m (£21m), or £416,000-a-week, to make the switch to England. Last week, Neymar admitted he admired a number of Premier League sides – including United. ‘The Premier League is a championship that amazes me,’ Neymar said. ‘I like the playing style and the teams. 18 Extra Weeks Added to the Repairs of Abuja Airport - FG

The Federal Government has extended the timeline for repair work on the runway of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, by another 18 weeks. According to Daily Trust, a highly-placed official in the presidency, revealed this in a statement made available to State House correspondents on Sunday. The official, who pleaded anonymity, said the second phase of the upgrade work would be done at night, to avoid disruption of flight schedules. The Abuja Airport was shut down on March 8, 2017 and is expected to be re-opened on April 19. “After the Abuja Airport reopens for operations on April 19, upgrade works on the runway will continue for another 18 weeks. This second phase of upgrade works on the runway will be carried out at night, with no disruption to flight schedules,” the official said. Reports showed that over 43,000 passengers passed through the Kaduna Airport in its first 11 days of operation, as alternative to the Abuja Airport. The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was temporarily closed from midnight on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to enable the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), carry out major rehabilitation of the runway at the airport. FAAN’s managing director, Saleh Dunoma, appealed to airline operators, passengers, airport users and other stakeholders to bear with the FAAN, saying it would continue to upgrade facilities at the nation’s airports. six people die after eating in a restaurant in Cross river state

          At least six people died yesterday, including the owners of the restaurant after eating their food. This is as a result of food poisoning by an unknown source. Several Customers who survived the food poisoning were rushed to the Hospital. They had seizures and Convulsions before Came their way. One of the survivors said

            "I was eating in the restaurant around 8am, when I started seeing
              Other customers falling down with foam coming out of their

              Mouth. I started feeling somehow too before we got Help".
Investigations is being carried out to know the main cause of the food poisoning. This incident Happened in Ogoja, Crossriver State.

We all know that Efe has one of the largest fan base against his other housemates. Efe Fans showed him mad love today by going for a jug in jabi park, Abuja and also in Lagos. Even though he is not up for eviction, all I can say is that this is mad love and I am also rooting for Efe for the money. I see Bisola as being one of the biggest threat for Efe due to her fan base too. Well I'm rooting for Efe too and I hope he wins. 

                 I see Big Brother as a game of personality rather than talent. If you get the viewers to love you and your personality persuades them to vote for you , then you are good to go. So we should not take it too serious, it's just a game.

Are you going through depression

Depression is under rated in Nigeria but it is indeed a big psychological problem which is also a serious medical issue. It is worthy to say that physical torture is way better than emotional torture . This is because so many things are going on in your head and mind, without your immediate family members knowing about it. Most people see a happy life as a life with so much wealth and luxuries. 

               This is absolutely a wrong notion, if you don't know, the rich are more depressed than the poor. If this is so, why did the doctor in Nigeria who is almost at His peak of His career commit suicide. A happy life is finding inner peace and joy. You don't have to wait for people to make you happy. A happy life is doing the things you love to do and what gives you joy.

              Are you depressed and you Have lost all hope, try talking to someone. You will realize that  you are not the only one going through that problem. So you are not alone , suicide is not the last option. Try to read books, watch movies, hang out with friends and family. Are you depressed over failed marriages, failed relationship, failed career, loss of family members or loved ones. Don't worry there is Hope, pick up yourself and move on. If you know someone that is depressed, try to reach out to them, you might just be saving a life. 

                 Remember Happiness is free, you don't have to allow situations and people make you pay for happiness. 

Another Nigerian woman attempts suicide in Mainland Bridge

The Lagos State Police Command has rescued a woman, Taiwo Titilayo Momoh who attempted to jump into the Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge on Friday.

Taiwo’s case is coming few days after a medical practitioner, Allwell Orji jumped into the Lagoon from Third Mainland Bridge as his remains was retrieved from the water on Wednesday.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni told newsmen at the Rapid Response Squad, (RRS), headquarters, Lagos Government Secretariat, Alausa, Lagos, on Friday that Momoh was in a taxi heading towards Oworonshoki on Third Mainland Bridge when she told the taxi driver to stop on the bridge.

According to Owoseni, the woman was about to jump into the water when a police patrol team on a routine patrol on the Third Mainland Bridge sighted her and rushed to save her before she jumped into the Lagoon.

The police boss said from his interaction with the woman, she had depression as a result of unpaid loans, adding that “she is still insisting that she wants to end her life.”

Owoseni noted that committing suicide was an offence under the law but that the police would try to talk the woman out of committing suicide.

He said the woman would be taken through post-trauma programme to ensure that she had hope and not commit suicide, adding that the police would do a medical evaluation on her to ascertain her condition.

Owoseni lamented the rate at which people commit suicide in the country, describing it as worrisome, adding that the police had begun patrol of bridges across the state to forestall other cases of suicide.

He added that it was now an offence for individuals to walk on bridges in the state and that no vehicle would be allowed to stop on any bridge in the state henceforth in order to prevent suicide incidences.

“Right now, the woman is still in trauma and she still insists that she wants to end her life,” he said.

However, as the woman was being led from the RRS headquarters into a waiting police vehicle, she was confronted with several television cameras and still cameras and she reacted by saying that she was not a criminal and that her shots should not be taken.

The road to weight loss can be a narrow and rough road, the journey also might be a far one. The good news is that with consistency, determination, endurance, and discipline you can achieve a noticeable weight loss as early as a month. There is a great feeling when you walk out the door and your neighbors and friends start telling you "you have lost some weight " "you look younger " and you thank them with a big grin on your cHeeks. Achieving this results takes a lot of self discipline and endurance. While you might have started thinking of the kind of exercise to embark on, remember without a proper diet Combined with exercise weight loss will be hard to achieve.
                  Now as a Nigerian there are some foods you Have to avoid when you are on a weight loss journey. Remember it can take you two weeks to learn a new Habit. It may seem hard at first but it is worth it. Try avoiding this foods for two weeks and you will not want to it eat again.

Personally I recommend eating 85% fruits and vegetables. You can take fruits for breakfast, look for a food high in protein at noon and also take fruits at night. Also, if you still want to lose weight and eat your favorite meal then take it at noon. Fruits and vegetables should be your breakfast and dinner. Remember to keep the carbs low. Take plenty of water to feel full and reduce some parts of the body that have retained water.  

Cynthia Osokogu's killers sentenced to death

After four years of her death,a High Court in Igbosere has issued death sentence to Okwumo Nwabufo and Olisaeloka Ezike who were charged with the murder of a postgraduate student of Nasarawa State University, Cynthia Osokogu was murdered by the convicts on July 22 2012 at Cosmilla Hotel, Lake View Estate Festac Town, Lagos. She met her killer through Facebook.

Matters of the heart

Have you been in a relationship or you like someone and you feel ignored. You have tried reaching out but he or she does not respond too. Moving on seems like the most difficult and painful decision to make but you have to. You don't have to force someone to love you or stay in your life. I have been in this situation before I called him even when I vowed not to and at the end tells me thank you and rarely returns my call or visit. I was so hurt but my feelings towards overlooked his imperfections until I decided to give myself some respect and move on. Give yourself some self respect and love yourself.
